Standing Stone Farms began as a small Irish-themed boutique dairy goat farm established in March 2006, located in the middle of Tennessee, about 20 miles southeast of Nashville. Paula and her daughter Jennifer, established a nationally recognized herd of Nubian dairy goats for show and milk production, as well as running a cheese making school and supply company. By 2016, the entire family was involved, her son, Bobby and his wife, Megan all play integral rolls in the business. In 2021, After the passing of her husband of 38 years, Glenn Butler, Paula and her kids moved the business to Murfreesboro, TN. The Butler Family still own a few dairy goats that are kept at friends farms around the country but no longer breed or show them personally. The focus is primarily on our cheese making school and providing cheese making kits & supplies to home cheese makers and artisan dairies around the world. We offer both demonstration and hands-on Cheese Making classes and welcome Private parties. Perfect for small or large group events.
When I began Standing Stone Farms, it was with a promise to my husband of thirty plus years that raising goats would be a little side hobby. Little did I know…
