Standing Stone Farms began as a small Irish-themed boutique dairy goat farm established in March 2006 by Paula Butler. It is located in the middle of Tennessee, about 20 miles northeast of Nashville. Together with her daughter, Jennifer, they established a nationally recognized herd of Nubian dairy goats for show and milk production, as well as running a cheese making school and supply company. Now, the entire family is involved, her son, Bobby and his wife, Megan. The Butler Family still owns dairy goats but no longer breed or show them. The focus is primarily providing cheese making supplies to home cheese makers and artisan diaries around the world. As well as offering several cheese Making classes per year on the farm. Private parties available.
